Truth is Revealed – A.S.K.
At Bright Star Christian School, we teach that truth is revealed by God. Christianity is a faith of enlightenment and intelligence. The pursuit of truth is a directive given to mankind by his creator that when placed in correct priority to worship and obedience serves to glorify God. This school is hereby established to operate under the premise that through our relationship with Jesus Christ we have access to all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge afforded by the Creator of all things. We commit ourselves to assist parents in teaching the biblical principles needed for self government and responsible citizenship to the children placed in our care.
We teach and practice A.S.K. :
“Ask and it shall be given” – Engage the spirit to acknowledge the devine source and request wisdom. We open everyday in prayer and encourage students to lead prayer.
“Seek and you shall find” – Engage the mind to study, think ethically, logically, think about reasons and purpose. We study math reasoning and music history, ethics, teleology, veritology, and Greek.
“Knock and the door will be opened” – Engage the flesh to act according to what we have learned and live out the moral ethic by doing our best. This is why we teach sportsmanship and uphold it on the playground.
